The Town trialled pedestrianisation of Wise Terrace over August and adopted permanent vehicle closure of Wise Terrace between Throssell Road, Leake Street and McLarty Boulevard.
The trial was intended as a starting point for future opportunities in the space.
There has been some feedback around antisocial behaviour and littering and Council is working with police and community organisations to ensure people are supported to make the best use of the space.
Temporary shade and seating structures have now been removed prior to the start of cyclone season.
A survey has now been conducted giving the community and opportunity to feedback on the trial and inform what permanent changes should be made.
