Sport & Recreation Reserves
The Town of Port Hedland values sport and recreation and has a number of sport and recreation reserves available for hire by local sporting groups and the community. The Town has been working to upgrade sporting amenities and this has seen the redevelopment of both the Colin Matheson Oval and the Kevin Scott Oval. The Town is also in the process of developing master plans for upgrades to a number of other sporting amenities – to ensure that the sporting community are catered for as the population grows.
