The Town's Shape Your Future program offers a variety of full-time traineeships across the organisation, with the aim of providing career pathways to the community.

The Town has four traineeship opportunities available for the 2025 Program:

• 1x Waste Services Administration Trainee (Cert IV Business Administration) 

• 1x Parks & Gardens Horticulture Trainee (Cert III Horticulture) 

• 1x Aquatics and Community Recreation Trainee (Cert III/IV Sport, Aquatics and Recreation) 

• 1x Sport and Recreation Trainee (Cert III/IV Sport, Aquatics and Recreation)
