Council Meetings

Members of the public are welcome to attend Council and Committee meetings and are encouraged to ask questions in relation to items on each month's agenda. For more information regarding the process for participation at Council or Committee meetings, please contact the Governance team on (08) 9111 5000, or send an email to council@porthedland.wa.gov.au 

Most Council and Committee Meetings are held in Council Chambers, at the Civic Centre, Port Hedland, commencing at 5:30pm. Click here to view upcoming council meetings.

All Town of Port Hedland documents are available to the community upon request and in alternative formats if required, including hard copy in standard and large print, electronic format, audio format on CD or USB, or via email.


Public Question Time

Public Statement Time

Members of the public are permitted to make a statement at Council and Committee Meetings. Complete the online form or download a copy to provide at the relevant meeting. Hardcopies are also available upon request at the Civic Centre. 


Annual General Meeting of Electors

A general meeting of electors of a district is to be held once every financial year. The date for each year's general meeting of electors is to be determined by Council no more than 56 days after the adoption of the annual report of the previous financial year.
