What is OneConnect?

OneConnect is the Town of Port Hedland’s new online portal that will transform how you access our services. It’s a user-friendly, secure digital platform where you can lodge applications, make payments, and track requests — all in one place, anytime.

Just some of the features going live include:

  • Submit building and development applications

  • Submit pet registrations and applications

  • Apply for licenses (e.g. food, alcohol, or trading)

  • Make payments for applications and renewals

  • Receive updates and monitor progress online

Who is it for?

OneConnect is for everyone in the Hedland community — residents, businesses, developers, and anyone who interacts with Town services.

It will be especially useful for:

  • Residents who want a more convenient way to contact the Town and access services

  • Builders and developers needing to lodge and track applications

  • Business owners applying for or renewing licenses

Why are we doing this?

Where can you use it?

The OneConnect portal will be available through the Town of Port Hedland’s official website. You’ll be able to:

  • Submit applications and payments online, from wherever you are

  • Avoid unnecessary trips or phone calls

When is it launching?

The OneConnect Portal will be launching on 1 July 2025.

We’re finalising the portal now to ensure it delivers a seamless and easy-to-use experience.
