Emergency Management

Landowners in the Town of Port Hedland Local Government Area are required to comply with the Firebreak and Fuel Reduction Notice each fire season.

If clearing firebreaks as specified in the notice is impractical or unnecessary due to natural features, residents may submit a Firebreak Variation Application to propose alternative fire prevention measures.

You can submit a general enquiry through OneConnect or call our Customer Service’s team on (08) 9158 9300 weekdays between 8:00am and 3.45pm.
