Please be advised the playground adjacent to Wanangkura Stadium will be closed from Wednesday, 15 May until mid-June to enable its upgrade.
The upgrades will keep the majority of infrastructure in place, with the addition of a NEOS 360 which combines the thrill of video games with physical interaction.
The renewal will also include updating infrastructure with the addition of minor elements to promote inclusive play for all abilities.
These upgrades will bring the playground in line with the Town’s Strategic Community Plan 2018-2028 and the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2017-2022.
During the works, please abide for signage in the vicinity and exercise caution around works crews.
