the pitts family circus

The Pitts Family Circus began as a duo 15 years ago and have grown their marvellous troupe to five, simply by breeding more Pitts.
$18 adults, $8 Children or $45 for family of 4
(Ingenious!) Not surprisingly they have added baby juggling, sword-swallowing children and human pyramids to their long list of marvellous skills.
The Pitts Family Circus has now toured the world seven times and is without doubt the most charming Australian small family circus around.

Hosted by the inimitable Shep Huntly, this is variety like no other where the performers push the boundaries of physical possibility.

CAKE - the late show - strictly over 18 only

Serving world-class circus and burlesque, CAKE is a cornucopia of Queer infused delight with a comedy layered base, flirtatious frosting and just a sprinkling of sheer chaotic madness.

They glamorously invite their audience to live at the limits of their imagination in a seductive, heady dose of mischief and mayhem.

Everybody loves bubbles, but Dr Hubble really LOVES bubbles and he wants to show you why.
$8 or $25 for a family of 4
Dr Hubble, Australia’s favorite bubbleman, takes you on a fun, funny and slightly educational journey into the world of bubbles.
You will see the biggest bubbles you have ever seen, bubbles inside bubbles, a square bubble, the explodabubble and more.
At the end of each performance one lucky child gets put inside a huge bubble.

There will be a great range of food and beverage options available at the event as part of the Spinifex Spree Carnival experience. You can bring your own food however, no glass bottles or containers please. Please note this is a non-BYO event however there will be a licensed Beer Garden onsite at the Loco Lounge.
Food and beverage vendors are subject to change.
Please note there will be no free drinking water available at the event.

Accessibility
The event is located on grass and is accessible for attendees in wheelchairs or those utilising prams.
The venue has accessible toilets with baby changing tables and parking facilities. An accessible viewing area has been designated near the stage.
Assisted listening devices are available for the entertainment occurring on the stage. Devices can be requested from the Information Desk as per the event map.
A quiet zone will be available for any attendees to utilise at the event, this will include sensory activities and headphones. Please note the quiet zone will be closed from 8:30pm on Saturday.

ATM
Stallholders are encouraged to provide cash and card payment methods. There are no ATM/cash out facilities available at the event. In the case attendees require cash, the closest ATM is located at the Port Hedland Boulevard Shopping Centre on the corner of McGregor Street and Wilson Street.
Pets
Please keep your pets at home, unfortunately pets will not be allowed to enter the event, except for service animals.
Did you know that the unexpected noises and bright lights that the fireworks produce can scare animals? We advise all community members to keep an eye on your pets during the display. Here are some tips that may be able to help keep your pets calm:
- Ensure your pets have exercised and been fed before the display
- Keep your pets with you indoors, if possible
- Distract your pets with games/ food
- Ensure your pets are microchipped in the case they run off
Getting to the Event
Due to limited onsite parking, attendees are encouraged to carpool where possible and utilise ride share services. Pick-up/drop off zone and main event parking will be available inside Town Oval.
Access to the main event parking and pickup/drop off zones is via McGregor Street near the Port Hedland Skate Park. Please follow directions from onsite Traffic Controllers.
Overflow parking areas will be available at the following location:

Fireworks
The much-loved fireworks display will be returning this year. The display will be fired from Town Oval at 8:00pm on Saturday 29 July.
Keep Port Hedland Beautiful
Let’s ‘Do the right thing’ at the Town Oval and surrounds. Please dispose of your litter in the appropriate bins provided.
Containers for Change receptacles will be onsite in the food area. We encourage all attendees to utilise these and if unsure, please ask event staff or one of the onsite Care for Hedland volunteers for assistance.
Seating
A limited number of tables and chairs will be available at the event in two dedicated seating areas and the Beer Garden at the Loco Lounge. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs and/or picnic rugs.
Shade
Shade will be provided in part of the food area and a dedicated seating area near Sideshow Alley. If you are attending the event during daylight hours, remember to slip on a long-sleeved shirt, slop on sunscreen, slap on a hat, seek shade, slide on sunglasses and ensure you stay hydrated.
Smoking
A smoking zone will be available for attendees at the event as per the site map. Please be respectful of other patrons and only smoke in the designated area and dispose of your butts in the bin provided.
Toilets
Please refer to the Event Map for toilet locations. Toilets are unisex including accessible toilets.

If you have any questions, have lost something or someone or need medical attention, approach one of our friendly event staff or visit the Information Desk as per the site map. In the event of an emergency follow the directions of the event staff.
