Special Storytime - Snake Safety - Session 1 (Ages 3-5)

Past Event

Join us for a special storytime to learn about snake safety! We will be joined by Gemma from Hedland Snake Removal, where she will read us a story, and tell us all the tips to stay safe around snakes.

Hedland Snake Removal was started in 2016 by a group of passionate reptile lovers who recognised the need for additional trained snake relocators. They work in conjunction with the Town of Port Hedland Rangers, but are a fully volunteer lead organisation relying on donations from the Hedland community.

Gemma is an animal lover and has kept snakes as pets for over 20 years. Gemma attends callouts from time to time and is also involved in the Community Engagement side of our work with schools and other community organisations in Hedland.
