Please be advised that the South Hedland Library will be closed from Tuesday 26 April and reopen on Monday 2 May, for the purpose of undertaking maintenance works.

Port Hedland Library at the Boulevard Shops will be open during this time, where items may be returned or borrowed. Port Hedland Library has three public computers available for use: please book ahead to secure your spot.

Please note that during the week of the closure, Rhyme Time and Storytime will be held at Port Hedland Library.

Renewals can be accessed from the Library online catalogue, or by emailing the Port Hedland Library via portlib@porthedland.wa.gov.au.

We have extended all loan periods until Monday 2 May, and you may borrow up to 20 items from South Hedland Library before the closure period. There is still a limit of 10 items that can be borrowed from Port Hedland Library.

All fines will be waived from Friday 22 April until Saturday 7 May.

We encourage all borrowers to contact our friendly staff if you require assistance accessing our great eResources. You can access these from the online catalogue via the Town of Port Hedland website or via the State Library of WA website.
