Expressions of interest are now being taken for stallholders who wish to trade or fundraise at this year’s Welcome to Hedland Community Expo, held on Friday 10 May from 5pm to 8pm in South Hedland Town Square.
The Event is designed to introduce new residents in town to the vibrant selection of community organisations in Hedland, providing many avenues for involvement and inclusion.
Mayor Camilo Blanco welcomed the Event’s return, pointing to its success in previous years.
“Welcome to Hedland is a much loved event on the calendar which showcases the backbone of our community.
“I remember seeing large crowds in recent years, pointing to local enthusiasm for a neighbourly night out.
“In order for the event to remain viable, we need stallholders to continue their involvement and participation on the night.
“If you’re looking to introduce your small business or club to a new set of eyes, I encourage you to submit an expression of interest.
“Similarly, if you’ve been involved in previous years, 2019 will once again be a great opportunity to get involved."
