Do you have a Town of Port Hedland Libraries Membership? Well, there's been some slight changes to Kanopy!
Kanopy is a video streaming platform with an extensive collection of movies, TV series and documentaries.
As of 1 November 2023, there will be changes to the credit system which allows Town of Port Hedland library members to watch movies and series each month. Play credits will be changed to tickets, and members will have 12 tickets to allow them to better access the range of material available.
Titles will be labelled with the number of credits required to watch them, depending on the type of content. Some content will require 0 tickets so will be available for unlimited viewing.
Starting November 1, 2023, the viewing experience on Kanopy will be easier than ever with the switch from play credits to tickets. With this update, you can easily see the number of tickets required and viewing period for each film next to the play button.
Kanopy Kids will continue to be its own section on Kanopy, and will not be included in the ticket system.
