During December, January, and February, Western Australian Public Libraries are running an exciting Summer Reading Quest. The initiative aims to promote and encourage reading over the summer holidays, to keep those lifelong literacy skills ticking along! There are also heaps of prizes to be won!
When does the SRQ start?
The SRQ is open to all children and will start on 1 December 2023
Who can participate in the SRQ?
Children aged 5 and over. Children aged 5 and under can participate through a 'Summer Steps' card.
How can I participate?
Collect your SRQ booklet from one of our libraries, and record how many minutes you read each day in December, January, and February. The booklet also includes an Adventure Card with fun literacy activities!
