Former Australian Test and One Day International cricketer, Star BBL Player and Speaker, Brad Hogg, will be the special guest at the Town of Port Hedland and BHP Community Sports Awards next Friday.
He will meet with the Port Hedland Cricket Club in the afternoon, giving local cricketers the chance to meet with the cricketing legend.
As the seventh most successful One Day bowler for Australia, he is one of only 15 players to have won the World Cup more than once.
He played in 123 One Day Internationals and seven test matches for Australia, representing Western Australia from 1994 to 2008.
Brad will join the Sports Awards in the evening to celebrate the talent, ambition and sportsmanship of the local Hedland community.
He is nationally renowned for motivational public speaking, delivering presentations across Australia such as Enjoy the Challenge and Cricket, A Lesson for Life.
The Town of Port Hedland and BHP Community Sports Awards will be held on Friday, 29 November at Wanangkura Stadium in the evening.
