Online Form - National Reconciliation Week Breakfast 2022

The Town is hosting a National Reconciliation Week Breakfast on Friday 27 May 2022, from 8:00am to 10:00am in the Civic Centre's Gratwick Hall.

You're invited to come along to hear special guest speakers and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

National Reconciliation Week runs from 27 May to 3 June: a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The 2022 theme is Be Brave. Make Change. This is a challenge to all Australians - individuals, families, communities, organisations and government - to Be Brave and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so we can Make Change for the benefit of all Australians.

Reconciliation involves building positive, respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians; enabling us to work together to close gaps, and to achieve a share sense of fairness and justice.

The ultimate goal of reconciliation is to build strong and trusting relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, as a foundation for success and to enhance our national wellbeing.
