what is the community perception survey?
The Community Perception Survey is used to gauge the community's perception of how the Town is tracking delivering for the Hedland community. A series of questions covering a cross section of the Town's operations are included in the survey, such as community facilities, waste collection, leadership and more. The survey provides local residents, businesses and community organisations an opportunity to influence the direction of the Town and Council. The survey is available in both digital and hard copy formats.
what will the information be used for?
Survey responses will be used to inform the review of the Town's Strategic Community Plan (SCP) 2018-2028. It is a state government requirement for the Town to undertake a full review of the SCP four years into this timeframe. Reviewing the SCP makes sure the community's vision, values, aspirations and priorities are reflected in the Town's strategic planning and decision making.
how long do i have to complete the survey?
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. The survey closes at xx on Sunday 5 December 2021.
