Around 1,800 people gathered at Marapikurrinya Park for the latest Sunset Food Markets, enjoying an evening of great food, live entertainment and family fun in the heart of the West End.
Families, friends and visitors enjoyed a wide range of food and sweet treats from local and visiting vendors while enjoying the unique harbour views and vibrant market atmosphere.
A highlight of the evening was the performances of local artists Red Coast Duo and Darc, who both took to the Sunset Food Markets stage for the first time, their performances showcased emerging local talent in Hedland.
There was plenty to keep all ages entertained, from face painting and the HARTZ Makers Space activities to laughs and amazement with Cameron the Magician. Community spirit was also on show, with the JaBaT Community BBQ raising funds to support local programs and initiatives.
The Sunset Food Markets continue to be a much-loved community event, bringing people together to connect, support local businesses, enjoy local talent and make the most of Hedland's unique coastal lifestyle.
