Retrieve drone
Shut off the RPA
Shut off remote controller
Remove the battery and props
Check battery for structural damage
Check props for any cracks or damage
Clean all dirt/sand/debris
Turn motors with RPA inverted
Check gimbal for damage
Check camera for cracks or loose wires
Check drop protectors
Check entire frame for cracks
Ensure motors are secure

Rebooting

Insert battery
Reboot RPA on level surface
Calibrate compass and IMU
Confirm gimbal range of motion
Start motors without props
Restart with props and observe
Bring RPA to a slight hover
Record video while manoeuvring
Review video for camera stability
Perform test flight low and slow
