Hedland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnership Plan 2024-2028

The drafted Ngalikuru Kuma-Marri Plan is available for public consultation on Town of Port Hedland website.

The Ngalikuru Kuma-Marri Plan 2024-2028 (Hedland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnership Plan) sets the intention of the Town of Port Hedland to work together with our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities of Hedland in a meaningful, collaborative and cooperative manner. 

The Plan, as a strategic framework document, guides Council’s operations, activities and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and provides the over-arching plan for reconciliation and action within the Hedland township and its remote communities.

Comments can be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Town of Port Hedland.

Submissions can be emailed to communityengagement@porthedland.wa.gov.au or forwarded to PO Box 41, Port Hedland WA 6721.

All comments should be received no later than 4.00pm on 3 May 2024.
