The Town of Port Hedland is pleased to announce Steven Gatt has been appointed Director Regulatory Services.
Mr Gatt will join the Town on 15 June, bringing 32 years of local government experience including leading regulatory, compliance and planning teams.
He is currently Executive Manager – Regulatory Services at Fraser Coast Regional Council in Queensland, where he leads a multi-disciplinary portfolio that includes environmental health, compliance and community safety.
Mr Gatt led integrated planning and regulatory functions at Rockhampton Regional Council with extensive experience engaging with Elected Members, government agencies, industry and community stakeholders.
Mr Gatt holds a Graduate Certificate in Business and Financial Leadership, supported by qualifications in local government planning, regulatory compliance and investigations.
