ServiceWA kiosk to visit South Hedland Library next month

The ServiceWA app is a secure and convenient mobile app provided by the Western Australian Government. The app helps connect you with WA State Government services all in one place.

From 7 May to 4 July, there will be a ServiceWA Digital Assist Kiosk trial set up to help families set up their app to claim the WA Student Assistance Payment.

The WA Student Assistance Payment helps parents and carers with the cost-of-living pressures associated with sending their children to school.

The second round of the payment is now open, with claim submissions available through the ServiceWA app.

All Western Australian school students in Kindergarten to Year 12, with a valid WA student number (WASN), are eligible for this cost-of-living payment.

You can claim $250 for each secondary student and $150 for students attending primary school or Kindergarten.

The ServiceWA Digital Assist Kiosk trial is a free walk-in service located in central public libraries across WA, including South Hedland Library. There will be no need to book an appointment.

South Hedland Library, ServiceWA kiosk sessions:

  • Wednesday 11 June, 10am-5pm
  • Thursday 12 June, 10am-6pm
