Jemma Scott has been sworn-in as an Elected Member on the Town of Port Hedland Council.
Cr Scott’s declaration was made in Chambers at the Civic Centre on Monday 8 June.
The seat became vacated after Councillor-elect Adrian McRae did not fulfil the requirement to make a Declaration of Office within two months of an election result being declared.
Mayor Jacinta Behrend welcomed Cr Scott to the Council.
“I, along with the Elected Members, look forward to working collaboratively with Ms Scott to achieve positive outcomes for the Hedland community,” Mayor Behrend said.
Cr Scott’s term runs until October 2029.
