Last Thursday, Hedland Senior High School hosted its 2025 Graduation and Valedictory Awards Ceremony, celebrating academic excellence and community contributions.
The Town of Port Hedland congratulates all graduates and gives a special shout-out to three Youth Advisory Council members who together received nine awards for their outstanding achievements in academics and community service.

Sienna Bennett – AMPOL Best All Rounder

Felicity Stewart – Citizenship Award
Donated by Hon. Stephen Dawson MLA, presented by Hon. Kevin Michel MLA.
Matilda Thompson – Community Contribution Award
Donated by Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce, presented by General Manager Tina Scott.
Long Tan Leadership Award
Donated by the Australian Defence Force, presented by CPL David O’Connor.
