The Town of Port Hedland thrilled to announce the winners of the 2025 Festive Lights Competition, proudly powered by Horizon Power.
This annual event celebrates creativity, community spirit, and the joy of the festive season across Hedland.
This year’s competition featured over $4,000 in cash prizes, including a brand-new category for Best Street Display, which will enjoy a “Movie Under the Stars” experience.
Congratulations to this year’s winners:
- Best Display: 1 Rogers Street, Port Hedland
- Runner Up Best Display: 6 Yikara Drive, Port Hedland
- Best First Year Display: 42 McPherson Street, Port Hedland
- Best Street Display (NEW): Cockatoo Court, South Hedland
Manager Events, Art and Culture at the Town, Khristle Barr, congratulated all entrants for the festive glow across the Pilbara.

The People’s Choice category is now open for voting until 17 December with the winner announced on 18 December.
A digital trail map is available from the Town’s website, giving the community a chance to explore the festive magic from Port to South Hedland.
