Hedland music lovers are in for an unforgettable summer, with multi‑award‑winning Australian icons Christine Anu and Ella Hooper leading the biggest Always Good Nights line up to date.
Returning for its third year, the Town of Port Hedland’s signature live music series will bring intimate, world‑class performances to unique venues across Port and South Hedland from February to April 2026.
Since its launch, Always Good Nights has fast become a hero of Hedland’s cultural calendar, known for transforming local spaces into vibrant, atmospheric performance venues and attracting nationally acclaimed artists to the Pilbara.
This year’s line‑up features some of Australia’s most celebrated artists, including Christine Anu, whose multi‑decade career spans chart topping albums and cultural leadership; Ella Hooper, known for her ARIA winning rise and genre defining rock legacy; indie folk favourite Jack Botts, who has more than 100 million streams worldwide; and rising WA band South Summit, fresh off a year of breakout national success.
Each performance will spotlight local venues, support Hedland businesses, and create rare up-close experiences with artists who usually play to much larger crowds.
Khristle Barr, Events, Arts and Culture Manager, said the 2026 series celebrated both world‑class talent and Hedland’s strong community spirit.
“Always Good Nights continues to raise the bar each year," she said.
"These artists are leaders in the Australian music scene and experiencing them in such intimate settings is something truly special. It’s a celebration of creativity, culture and connection, all the things that make Hedland unique.”
Pilbara Ports Executive General Manager Marine, Captain Philip Christy, said the organisation was proud to support the growing series.
