Parking FAQs

Where can I park at the event?
There are several parking options available both onsite and within walking distance of the venue.

Where should I park if I have a 4WD or off-road vehicle?
Two overflow car parks are designated for 4WD and off-road vehicles:

Overflow 1 – located next to the venue
Overflow 2 – located across the road from the venue
Both areas are manned by Traffic Management to assist with parking.

Are all carparks staffed?
No. Only Overflow 1 and Overflow 2 are staffed by Traffic Management.
Other carparks, including Cone Place and Marquee Park, are unmanned.

Is accessible parking available?
Yes, accessible parking is located within the onsite venue carparks.

Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, onsite venue carparks are available and are best suited for small vehicles and 2WD.
Accessible parking spaces are also available in this area.

Is there additional parking nearby?
Yes, additional parking is available within a short walking distance (under 500m) via footpath access:

Cone Place Carpark
Marquee Park Carpark
Both are suitable for all vehicle types.

How far is the walk from additional parking areas?
The walk from Cone Place and Marquee Park is less than 500m and follows a designated footpath to the venue.

Ready to ball? SLAM Basketball is where it's at! 🏀 No teams? No worries, we've got you covered on the night. Come down for high energy games and friendly competition. Open to anyone aged 12+ SLAM is all about getting active, meeting new people, and having a laugh. Don't miss it!

Where is Celebrate Hedland held?

Celebrate Hedland has moved to the new location of JD Hardie Youth & Community Hub, LOT 5991 Cottier Drive, South Hedland WA 6722.

How much does it cost to attend?

Entry into the Celebrate Hedland is free, however the cost of food and drinks or products is determined by food vendor operators and stallholders.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the venue, with additional overflow parking (suitable for 4WD vehicles only) managed by Traffic Management contractor noted on the event map. Additional carparking can be found at Marquee Park and Cone Place within 500m of the event.

Is there Accessible Parking for the event?

Yes. There will be accessible parking available in the venue carparks which can be identified via onsite signage or as per the event map.

Are there Assisted Listening Devices available to help experience musical performances?

Yes. Assisted listening devices can be borrowed from the Info Desk location as per the event map.

Is the event accessible for wheelchairs and prams?

Yes. The event is accessible for wheelchairs and prams, with continuous footpath access throughout the event.

Does the event have sufficient seating?

Yes. There is a variety of seating options available throughout the event. Bringing your own picnic blanket and/or camping chair/s is also welcomed.

Is there accessible toilets at the event?

Yes. Left-handed accessible, right-hand accessible and ambulant toilet facilities are available at the event, as per the event map.
