The Town of Port Hedland Libraries are proud to be celebrating National Science Week from Saturday 15 August to Sunday 23 August! Established in 1997 and run every August, National Science Week acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of Australian scientists to the world of knowledge. ChemCentre, WA's leading provider of specialised chemical and forensic science services, has provided the libraries with 200 take-home chemistry kits for primary school aged students which can be collected during the week. We're also going to be holding a special science based story time, creating imaginative science displays at the libraries and more - get involved and let's celebrate science!
