We invite Hedland based community groups and services to register for a stall at this year's Hedland Says No to Family Violence march, which will be held from 9am Wednesday 4 May in South Hedland Town Square.
The march is in support of the prevention month for domestic and family violence, on the day of the candlelight vigil for lives lost to family violence. Following the march, guest speakers will address the crowd and there'll be a barbecue and attendees will interact with your stall.
We want kids to have positive experiences, healthy relationships and opportunities to learn. We want them to respect others, and respect themselves.
Not all disrespect towards women results in violence. But all violence against women starts with disrespectful behaviour.
Let's bring up respect at every age and every stage. Family and domestic violence does not discriminate and impacts all backgrounds.
