The Town of Port Hedland is pleased to announce the distribution of funding to four local childcare providers under the Attraction and Retention Packages for Regional Child Care Workers Program, supported by the Department of Communities.
As part of this initiative, the following providers received support:
- Rose Nowers Early Learning Centre
- Treloar Child Care
- Amutha Family Daycare
- Cinta Family Daycare
The funding provided targeted assistance for accommodation and equipment needs — two of the key challenges facing regional childcare services.
This program is part of the Town’s broader commitment to addressing childcare shortages, supporting the local workforce, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of early learning services in Port Hedland.
We thank the Department of Communities for their ongoing support of regional childcare and look forward to continuing our shared efforts to create a family-friendly and liveable community.
