One Punch Wonder

Past Event

Fortescue has partnered with The Actors' Hub Perth to present a series of performances of their show One Punch Wonder during November. Originally performed at the Fringe World events, The Actors' Hub is now putting on sessions for the Hedland Community.

One Punch Wonder is directed by Amanda Crewes and is an exploration into violence in society in light of the recent proliferation of one-punch incidents.

This dynamic, physical theatre show uses quotes from family members, police reports, court cases and witness accounts to present a holistic view of the fallout from one-punch attacks.

It is hoped that families will attend together to promote discussion and raise some important questions about how boys are raised and male stereotypes.

Please note, the show contains violence and adult themes and is recommended for high school children and above (accompanied by a parent or guardian).
