Each financial year, community groups and not-for-profit organisations can apply for a rates concession from the Town of Port Hedland, in accordance with our policy and section 6.47 of the Local Government Act 1995.
Council provides concessions to eligible community groups or organisations that operate as a body corporate or an incorporated association. However, residential properties that are not directly used for the organisation’s primary service delivery are not eligible for a concession.
For more information on eligibility, please refer to the Town of Port Hedland Rating Policy.
To apply, complete the Application for Rates Concession Form.
If you have any questions, contact the Town at council@porthedland.wa.gov.au

If you are a Pensioner or Senior and you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be eligible to claim a rebate applicable to Rates and Emergency Services Levy only. All other charges to be paid in full.
