The Town of Port Hedland is preparing for construction on the iconic South Hedland Integrated Sports Hub to start in 2024.

Feeling safe in our community is a basic right, and the Town is committed to creating safe public spaces, streets, and surroundings. As a dog owner, you have the first and foremost responsibility of keeping your dog safe.

Recent reports from the public have advised that needles and syringes are being found in community spaces. This is an unfortunate and serious matter, as our community’s health and well-being are a key priority for the Town.

Please be advised of the following changes to the operating times of Town of Port Hedland facilities and services on Australia Day, Friday 26 January 2024.

Water Corporation will be conducting overnight valve upgrades in Port Hedland. Water supply interruption will be Monday 27 November 2023, from 9:00pm until Tuesday 28 November 6:00am

Changes will be implemented from 1 November 2023

As of December 8, 2023, food businesses dealing with unpackaged, potentially hazardous, and ready-to-eat foods must adhere to the updated standards. Businesses must adhere to the new legislation and have a proof of certificate in order to continue trading.
