Bliss n Eso, Sheppard, Hands Like Houses and Abbe May are the main acts set to take the stage at this year’s North West Festival.

The four internationally acclaimed acts will feature alongside a range of local artists on the 25th and 26th August.

Port Hedland Mayor Camilo Blanco said that with the support of Event Partner BHP, the Town of Port Hedland is excited to be bringing the event back for another year.

“North West Festival is one of the biggest events in the Pilbara region, and we are ecstatic to be able to deliver a weekend that all members of our community can enjoy.

“The Saturday night festival will be open only to 18 years and above and is taking place at the stunning Civic Centre Gardens for the second year running.

“The much loved, family friendly North West Sundowner will also take place at the Civic Centre Gardens this year.

“Tickets will go on sale on the 19th June, so keep an eye on the Town of Port Hedland Facebook page for ticketing details.”

BHP Community Relations Manager, Chris Cottier, said that BHP is proud to once again support this exciting local event as part of a long-standing and ongoing commitment to the Port Hedland community.

“We have been a proud supporter of North West Festival since it began in 2012, and we are pleased to continue our support for what is sure to be another fantastic weekend this August.”

The North West Sundowner, presented by Fortescue, will also be held at the Civic Centre Gardens and will feature a series of kids’ activities and a line up to be announced in the coming weeks.
