The Town of Port Hedland Council has voted to award the tender of the management of the Port Hedland Visitors Centre and Courthouse Gallery to FORM for a further 12 months.
The existing contract for the management of the facilities will expire on 30 June 2017 and tenders were recently publicly invited for the administration of either or both the facilities.
“FORM has been managing our facilities for a number of years and we look forward to continuing this relationship,” Mayor Blanco said.
“We are currently developing a broad-based strategic review of the arts and culture needs in Port Hedland. Given the uncertainty surrounding these outcomes, a one year initial term with two further options was considered appropriate to allow the necessary flexibility to respond to changing circumstances if needed”.
