Published on Monday, 9 October 2017 at 12:00:00 AM

Giant obstacle courses, free refreshments, a DJ and guest speakers are just part of the fun that 6 – 18-year-olds can expect at the upcoming 2017 Colour Dash.

The free event, taking place on Saturday 14 October from 4 pm – 6 pm at Marie Marland Oval in South Hedland, is presented by the Town of Port Hedland in partnership with Hedland Youth Stakeholders Group (HYSAG).

The Colour Dash will take place during this year’s Mental Health Week WA and aims to help raise awareness for youth mental health in the Pilbara Region.

Amongst the activities, there will be an array of information, resources, and materials relating to mental health support available to everyone in attendance.

Participants are encouraged to wear old clothes they don’t mind getting covered in dye, and there will be some free white shirts available on the day.

This event is brought to you by Major Sponsors: FMG, Roy Hill, Goodline, Horizon Power, and Supporters: Coles, Centurion, RGR, Toxfree, Cervan Marine and Los Tres.
