Parks & Gardens

The main focus of Parks and Gardens is to develop and promote new and existing green areas for residents within the district and to maintain all facilities to a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of new green focal areas.
  • Effluent pumping and chlorination for Council and School reserves.
  • Street tree pruning and mulching.
  • Litter control.
  • Oval/Reserves maintenance.
  • Park and greenbelt maintenance.
  • Slashing of open space and verges.
  • Verge enhancement.
