- Membership is free

Borrowing from the library
- Adults can borrow six items (2 videos per family)
- Juniors (up to 13 years) can borrow 4 items
- Loan period is 3 weeks
- Items may be renewed twice by telephone to either library unless reserved by the other borrower.
- MEMBERSHIP CARD MUST BE PRESENTED EACH TIME ITEMS ARE BORROWED

Services
Public Personal Computer Use
PC can be used for producing documents and viewing CD ROMs. It is recommended to use a floppy disc to save your work.
Internet/Email
- Workstations are available at both libraries
- Internet used for research is free of charge.
- Email access for 30 minutes is $5.50 (Inc GST.)

Internet training sessions
Internet training sessions for beginners are held on Mondays 9:30am and Tuesdays 6:30pm at South Hedland Library. Port Hedland Library session is held on Thursdays from 5pm. It is a one hour session, and bookings are essential.
Story Time
Story time and craft sessions suitable for preschoolers are held on Mondays 1:30pm at the Port Hedland Library and on Fridays 10:30pm at the South Hedland Library for 1 hour.
Housebound Library Services
Delivery services for homebound people who otherwise would have no access to library and information materials. Contact South Hedland library for details.
Requests and Inter library Loans
If an item in our collection is on loan we can reserve it for you. If we don’t have the item or information you want, please ask, and we will try to get it for you from other public libraries in Western Australia.
Membership Responsibilities
- Items lost or damaged while on loan must be paid for.
- Lost or stolen library card will be replaced on payment of $2.20 (Inc.GST)
