The draft Strategic Community Plan provides a vision for the future of Port Hedland. Council Initiative Draft Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) and Temporary Workers' Accommodation (TWA) Strategy
The Town of Port Hedland has developed a Draft FIFO and TWA Strategy, which was endorsed by Council for a four week advertising period at the Wednesday 14 March Ordinary Council Meeting.
Council Initiative Business Plan for the Development of Precinct 3 at the Port Hedland International Airport
The Business Plan for the Proposed Development of Precinct 3 at the Port Hedland International Airport will be available for community feedback in accordance with section 3.59 of the Local Government Act 1995 from Saturday 12 November to Wednesday 28 December 2011.

Growth in both the Town’s population and service base has lead to an increase in the staffing levels at the Town Council. This in turn, has lead to office accommodation shortages. These shortages are likely to be exacerbated by growth in the staffing numbers over the coming years.
