The Town has launched the Welcome to Hedland Online platform, hosting profiles and performance videos accessible via any online device.
Made possible by Gold Sponsor Pilbara Ports Authority, visitors can discover a range of businesses, community groups and performers via the interactive map.
Earlier in the year when community transmission of COVID-19 started to impact Hedland, the Town decided to transition the community expo to an online platform to help stop the spread.
Visitors can click on icons to find out more information about digital stalls. Mayor Peter Carter welcomed the launch of the online event platform.
“I’m pleased the Town has launched the Welcome to Hedland Online platform, representing how the Town has adapted event delivery during the pandemic.
“The Social Pinpoint platform has provided us with a way to create an accessible online map which highlights the diversity and vibrancy of our community groups, businesses and performers in Hedland.
