Please be advised that the Water Polo WA Country Championships will be held at South Hedland Aquatic Centre (SHAC), from 12pm Friday 28 February to Sunday 1 March.
This is the first time Hedland has hosted these championships in 13 years, serving as an optimal time to showcase the sport to a new generation.
All community members should be mindful of the following:
- Due to the facility’s booking by Water Polo WA, the pool will be exclusively used by participants of the Water Polo WA Country Championships only. All other members of the public are welcome to enter the facility to spectate the event only.
- There will be no Learn To Swim lessons on Saturday 29 February.
- Gratwick Aquatic Centre (GAC) will be open as normal to all members of the public during this period.
SHAC will reopen to all members of the public from 12pm Monday 2 March.
