The Town will undertake landscaping works at the Broome Information Bay, adjacent to the Great Northern Highway near the airport, from Wednesday 1 September until Wednesday 22 September.
Works will involve preparatory earthworks, planting ten Melaleuca trees around the perimeter of the Bay, laying mulch, installing reticulation, installing cracker dust and concreting.
The landscaping is intended to require minimal maintenance once completed.
The works will make the Bay more appealing to road users and tourists seeking to rest and recharge on their trip.
Road users are advised to please exercise caution around the Bay, obey signage and be mindful of workers and machinery in the area for the duration of works.
