The Town of Port Hedland and Pilbara Ports Authority have partnered once again to present the Twilight Movie Series.
The Civic Centre Gardens will host an outdoor screen and food vendor options on selected dates from December 2019 to June 2020.
The first film screened will be the 90s Christmas classic, Home Alone at 7:00pm on Saturday 21 December, with food vans on site from 6:00pm.
Hon. Commissioner Fred Riebeling said he was looking forward to a night of festive fun, which marked the beginning of the school holidays.
“The Twilight Movie Series is a much loved component of the Town’s growing event roster.
“Despite being aimed at families, all members of the community can enjoy watching a nostalgic classic under the stars, while indulging in what our local food vendors have on offer.
“People can also bring their own food and refreshments, and I encourage people to pack their blankets and pillows to make the evening a comfortable one.
“There might even be a surprise visit from Santa who despite being very busy around this time of year has made some time to visit Hedland kids in the lead-up to Christmas.
Please be advised this is a family friendly, drug and alcohol free event.
These screenings are accessible events, with accessible parking, toilet facilities and hearing loop assisted listening devices available upon request.
