The Town of Port Hedland is aware that Mayor Peter Carter has resigned as a member of the Hedland Senior High School Board.
The Town cannot comment on the matters that led to Mr Carter’s resignation from the School Board.
The Town is committed to providing strong leadership and is focused on strengthening our community.
The Town will liaise with the School Board for a replacement member and will continue to support the school in delivering strong educational outcomes across the region.
