Special Guest Speaker at Tomorrow's OWLS Session

Published on Tuesday, 15 May 2018 at 8:27:54 AM

The first Older Wiser Library Seniors (OWLS) session starts tomorrow at Port Hedland Library, running from 10.30am to 11.30am. OWLS is free, open to the public and registration is not necessary.

The session is designed to connect people 60 years and over in the community to library services, guest speakers and new friendships.

OWLS promotes the importance of coming together, sharing a love of literacy and supporting each other in our later years of life.

Session attendees will learn about the breadth of library services on offer, meet friendly library staff and have the opportunity to listen to a special guest speaker.

Morning tea will also be provided over a friendly chat.
