The Town of Port Hedland has resolved to adopt the Town of Port Hedland Public Places and Local Government Property Local Law 2022.
The purpose of the local law is to regulate the minimum age of unaccompanied and unsupervised children within the Town of Port Hedland Aquatic Facilities, and to regulate the use of recording devices and cameras within those facilities.
The effect of the local law is to stipulate the age restrictions for persons entering the aquatic facilities, regulate use of recording devices and cameras within those facilities and to provide capacity to enforce contravention of the local law.
A copy of the local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Town of Port Hedland website http://www.porthedland.wa.gov.au/local-laws.aspx
or obtained from the Civic Centre, McGregor Street, Port Hedland, Monday to Friday, and the Port Hedland and South Hedland Libraries during normal working hours.
This local law was Gazetted on 25 March 2022 and will come into operation on 8 April 2022.
