Sports Australia Hall of Fame Honorary and Olympic Gold Medallist, Libby Trickett, will be attending the Hedland Community Sports Awards next Friday.
Local swimmers from the Hedland Amateur Swimming Club will also be lucky enough to meet with Libby and view her swag of Olympic medals.
Ms Trickett was a Gold Medallist in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, breaking multiple swimming world records in her career.
Further, she is also involved with community advocacy initiatives such as the Save Our Schoolkids Campaign.
She will be joining Sports Awards nominees and their guests to celebrate the talent, ambition and sportsmanship in Hedland’s sporting community.
The Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, 30 November at the Wanangkura Stadium.
