Please be advised of further restrictions on public gatherings as a result of Prime Minister Scott Morrison's announcement on Sunday 29 March 2020:
- Limit both indoor and outdoor gatherings to two people (except if your household unit is more than two people)
- Stay at home unless you are shopping for necessities - except for exercising by yourself or with another person outside
- Playgrounds and skate parks are now closed
- Self-isolate if you are 70 or over, 60 or over with pre-existing health conditions or if you are an Indigenous Australian 50 or over
- All Town facilities are now closed - except for the Civic Centre and South Hedland Landfill, with kerbside rubbish collection continuing as normal
- All playgrounds are closed and off limits
- Marquee Park is closed and off limits
- South Hedland skate park is closed and off limits
