From Monday 6 September until Monday 20 September, the Town will be undertaking tree lopping and maintenance works to make public spaces safer for the community this cyclone season.
Works will include removing coconuts from palm trees and the general maintenance of trees and shrubbery, minimising the risk of flying debris during a cyclonic weather event.
These works are part of the Town’s annual pre-cyclone season green waste clean-up campaign to make cyclone season safer for the community.
Community members are asked to please be mindful of workers, signage and machinery in parks and public spaces for the duration of works.
