A number of dynamic and talented local artists will feature on the North West Festival stage on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August in the Civic Centre Gardens, shining a spotlight on the region’s rich musicality.
At the North West Festival on Saturday 24th, Mikey and The Salty Cowboys and Lachy John will be performing alongside the platinum selling Amy Shark, Baker Boy, The Potbelleez and Redhook.
At the Sundowner on Sunday 25th, Bella Blakemore and Sophia Holmes will be performing alongside Ash Grunwald and Pierce Brothers.
Hon. Commissioner Fred Riebeling said the Festival was a prime opportunity to showcase the strong calibre of local talent the Pilbara has to offer.
“We’ve got a fantastic line up of local talent at this year’s North West Festival, bringing an eclectic range of vocals for attendees to enjoy.
“This year’s line up is an opportunity for local talent to share the stage with some of the world’s biggest names in music, performing in front of a large and passionate crowd.
“As the Pilbara’s Premier music event, North West Festival brings people together from the Pilbara, intrastate and interstate, providing an unmissable weekend of entertainment.
“The family friendly Sunday Sundowner event gives families of all ages the chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the picturesque Pilbara sunset, family entertainment and food vans.
“Ticket sales are exceeding last year’s numbers, so I hope as many people as possible get to experience this not to be missed event.”
