Live it, Tell it, Do it For Your Chance to Win!

Published on Friday, 19 October 2018 at 10:07:53 AM

Hedland residents are being asked to spread the word and participate in the Town of Port Hedland’s 2018 annual perception survey.

The survey, part of the Live It, Tell It, Do It campaign, is designed to accurately gauge the community’s perception of the Town of Port Hedland’s performance against the Strategic Community Plan’s (SCP) progress measures.

Between October and December 2017, over 5,800 direct community interactions were recorded, forming the data driven basis for the SCP’s development earlier this year.

Mayor Camilo Blanco said broad participation in the 2018 perception survey would ensure Council continued making decisions which reflect the community’s priorities.

“The 2017 Live It, Tell It campaign directly informed the decisions Council made this year.

“Now, Live it, Tell It, Do It is the chance to measure the progress we’ve made over the last year and inform us of where we need to make improvements.

“I hope that people recognise the positive changes which are visible all around town. We have refocussed on delivering upgrades to infrastructure assets which everyone benefits from, such as roads and community facilities.

“The survey is user friendly, only takes 10 minutes and participants will have the chance to WIN a flight voucher for two valued at $1000 each!

“The survey closes on Sunday 18 November at 6pm, so visit www.porthedland.wa.gov.au to have your say on Hedland’s future now.”

Hard copies are available at the South Hedland Library and Civic Centre.
